We are glad to be back for the 5th edition of the Honda True Adventure Series in the breathtaking Nelson area, for a once in a lifetime journey around the top of the South Island. 

All road-registered Honda adventure bikes are invited to join in on the action! From the CT125 Hunter Cub through to the Africa Twin. This three day ride is designed for riders with some experience of adventure or off-road riding. It's going to be three action packed days of awesome riding based out of Nelson and Hanmer Springs. With over 350kms of riding per day, you'll be travelling on and over gravel roads, farms, forest sections and beaches. Expect stunning vistas, enjoyable trails and a real heartland kiwi adventure that can't be matched.  

What's Included:

  • Stunning route planned by the Honda team and expert local guides, GPS routes supplied
  • Back-up vehicle for support and luggage to Hanmer Springs, including service technician and certified first aid personnel
  • Late afternoon registration and bike safety check at Tasman Honda in Nelson – 3pm to 5pm Wednesday 31st March 2027
  • Breakfast and coffee on day one before we head to Hanmer Springs
  • Event bike safety check at Tasman Honda before day one

Key Details:

Ride dates: 1st - 3rd April 2027 departing from Nelson on the morning of 1st April. (Registration: 31st March 3-5pm, with rider briefing and dinner that night from 6:00pm at Nelson location TBC)
Location: Tasman Honda, for registration and start of day one, then returning to Tasman Honda Nelson on day three (two nights in Hanmer Springs)
Accommodation required (not included): Nelson on 31st March for one night, Hanmer Springs 1st & 2nd April for two nights, Nelson 3rd April if staying on the last riding day night
Cost: $595 per person including GST - no pillions
Spaces: Strictly limited to 80, your place will be confirmed upon receipt of payment
Open to: All Honda adventure bikes, with good adventure tyres required. - Available for purchase and fitment at Tasman Honda (booking essential)
