Next level riding, now with E-Clutch
Unique to Honda, E-Clutch takes riding to the next level. Choose manual clutch control of the six-speed gearbox, or activate E-Clutch via the TFT screen and ignore the lever. That’s it. From pulling away to shifting and stopping, just use the gear lever, E-Clutch handles the rest, smoothly and instantly, like a pro. You can’t stall. Traffic’s easier. And if you want to use the clutch? Go right ahead.
Selectable riding modes
Four default riding modes – Gravel, Sport, Standard and Rain – tailor engine power, braking, HSTC, Wheelie Control and ABS intervention. User modes let you set each parameter your way, including rear ABS off for off-road. Management is simple through the 5-inch TFT screen and backlit 4-way switchgear.
Wind Protection and All-day Comfort
If you’re spending all day getting somewhere reduced fatigue matters; with its central intake duct the Transalp manages high-speed airflow around the head area, for relaxed highway cruising. The screen is also made from Durabio™. A bio-based polycarbonate plastic for improved visibility and scratch resistance.
Dual LED Projector Headlights
The dual LED projector headlight offer improved nighttime visibility, and a redesigned front fairing and windshield with central air flow duct to reduce wind entanglement around the head, further enhancing style and providing additional comfort.
Steel Diamond Frame
The steel diamond frame is lightweight at 18.3kg. An advanced technological process has produced a hugely strong platform, with rigidity balanced to deliver feel and geometry set for agility – just what the all new engine needs to achieve impressive power to weight ratio.
City Streets to Mountain Passes
This bike is built to go the distance, so genuine comfort – for two – matters. An 850mm seat height and 208kg kerb weight make the Transalp easy to manage from walking pace upwards; the riding position is relaxed yet sits you upright, offering great visibility and natural comfort.
Superior Suspension
To ensure off-road performance and neutral handling in various types of road environments, SHOWA suspension has been used in both front and rear. Inverted front forks are made of forged aluminium for lighter weight and optimum balance between strength and rigidity. Rear suspension has a spring preload adjuster, pressurized shock absorber with a separate tank and Pro Link aluminium hybrid swing arm for high manoeuvrability.
Dual Wave Disc Brakes
The front brake boasts dual 310mm “wave” discs while the rear uses a 1-pot caliper and 256mm single disc. Enjoy riding with a sense of security from paved to unpaved roads.

Aerodynamic Performance And Wind Protection
The Transalp’s body lines have been specifically designed to reduce wind drag and rider fatigue. For open visibility forward, and excellent wind deflection, the screen’s height has been carefully optimised. Its compact width also minimises turbulence from trapped air.
